The Historical District
of Nieuw Gondangdia

Located at the heart of Menteng, a prestigious subdistrict of Central Jakarta. During the colonial era, Menteng was designed by Pieter Adriaan Jacobus Moojen, a prominent Dutch architect to resemble the garden city concept of Sir Ebenezer Howard, a proponent of a utopian city where people live harmoniously, side by side with nature.
